Holiday Courses

Easter Course

All schools have been asked to close and it is with regret that we must follow the government’s guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and students. SYTS will close at 1:30pm on Friday 20th March until further notice. A member of staff will make contact with you regarding your account.

Our Half term (4 day course) Easter course is taken by both teachers from our full-time school and also professionals from the theatre world.

The emphasis of our classes is on vocational development with good training. We aim to build confidence and communication skills. Students do not have to audition to take part and the course is suitable for those with some experience and for those entirely new to theatre. It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends in a very happy environment.

This fun filled four day course offers a combined course of theatre classes and offers varying styles in;

  • Drama
  • Audition Technique
  • Street Dance
  • Singing
  • Singing Mic Technique

From the second day students can choose to either follow their groups set sessions or the additional optional classes in Singing/Drama/Jazz/ Basic Circus Skills. These classes are included in the fee. The day commences at 10.15am and ends at 4.00pm. EXTRA classes are held after school from 4.15 till 5pm. Students MUST sign up for classes each day if they wish to stay for extra free sessions.

Parents may visit their child's classes on the last day of course. You can arrive with your child and spend the day or arrive later in the day. Please do not bring valuables to school as we cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
